Patient referred for immediate recurrence of his ectropion treated by a pentagonal resection technique (Kuhnt Szymanowski).
This technique is still the most commonly used to correct an ectropion or entropion of the eyelid. However, it is very often not adapted to the anatomical cause of the instability. In these cases, a recurrence is inevitable and will be very difficult to correct. This video describes a very demonstrative example
