Surgical correction of eyelid ptosis related to relaxation of the levator muscle aponeurosis
This is characterised by several clinical elements:
- preservation of a near-normal function of the levator muscle (> 12 mm)
- ascent of the palpebral crease
- thinning of the eyelid
- increase in the downward rolling of the eyelid
