Lower eyelid ectropion with skin retraction corrected by a graft: live surgery

Surgeon: Dr Jacques LAGIER / Nice

Live surgery at the "Oculoplastic academy" congress in Nantes 2011

Ectropion is usually caused by loosening of the tarsal ligamentous webbing, it may also be related to or aggravated by retraction of the anterior lamella, i.e. the skin and orbicularis. In this example, the retraction is corrected by a total skin graft.
