Ectropion of the lower eyelid with cutaneous retraction corrected by a graft: live surgery

Surgeon: Dr. Jacques LAGIER / Nice

Live surgery during the "Oculoplastic Academy" congress in Nantes 2011

Ectropion is usually caused by a loosening of the tarso-ligamentous sling, it can also be linked to or aggravated by a retraction of the anterior lamella, i.e. the skin and the orbicularis muscle. In this example, the retraction is corrected by a full-thickness skin graft.
